September 2007 Update

Early in the month, Arctic Medical took part in the exhibition at the Centre Lead Sports and Exercise Medicine at “Barts and The London, Queen Mary’s School of Medicine and Dentistry”. Then late in the month we were present at the “7th Football Association Fitness and Conditioning Conference” at Loughborough University, and then the third “International Performance in Sport Conference” in Newcastle prior to the Great North Run. We are very proud to have been able to support the Diabetes UK runners in the GNR for the third year in succession!

At these conferences we were able to meet many old friends (now that we are in our third year of attending these events) as well as meet some new ones and increase the number of professional football teams now using Hypo-Fit® syrup 74.5%.

A consensus view from a number of teams is that Hypo-Fit® syrup 74.5% is taken at half-time, and before any extra-time, although some players take it before match start!

Visits continue to Diabetes Care Centres and there were exhibitions with charities and GPs organisations. As a result, more and more patients all over the country are enjoying the taste and benefits of Hypo-Fit® syrup 74.5%. In mid-September we took an active part at the EASD in Amsterdam helping the Hypo-Fit® manufacturer at his stand with visitors from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Azerbaidzhan as well as the UK and Ireland.

We continue to give out samples, as requested, mainly in the form of the very useful BRILL-BOX, as well as continuing to inform GPs about Hypo-Fit® syrup 74.5 %. The product is readily available on prescription through Alliance Pharmacies, Boots, LloydsPharmacy, Moss Chemists as well as independent pharmacies.
